200 oil tankers torched in Arghandi crossroad: MoI

KABUL: The ministry of interior has tasked a delegation to investigate the issue of burning oil tankers in Arghandi area of Paghman district, Kabul on Friday night.
According to BNA, a statement of Interior Ministry released here yesterday said that the exact number of the tankers burned in the incident is not known, however, preliminary report of police shows that some 200 tankers were torched at 11:00 p.m. local time Friday night. Meantime, Taliban militants have claimed of responsibility for the attack, while the chief of crime investigation department of police said that placing sticky mines on two oil tankers had caused the disaster.
