KABUL: The ministry of foreign affairs of Afghanistan says preparations are underway for the inaugural ceremony of the next President of Afghanistan. MoF spokesman Shekeb Ahmad Mustaghni told reporters Tuesday that the world leaders have also been invited to the swearing-in ceremony taking place in the first democratic transfer of power. The government talks of preparation for transfer of power while the Presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah has boycotted the electoral process. He has suspended his relations with the election commission, accusing the electoral bodies of mass fraud in favor of his rival. However, the UN and as well the as the special representative of Germany for Afghanistan have accelerated their efforts to bring Abdullah back to the electoral process and resolve the election dispute.
