Qanooni meets Indian Ambassador to Kabul

KABUL: First Vice President Mohammad Younus Qanooni in a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Kabul discussed over bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
In the meeting, First Vice President offered the Indian Ambassador best wishes on the occasion of kicking off the new Indian government’s work, hoping further progress of the Indian people.
The First Vice President said the people of Afghanistan also held presidential run-off election and hoped that its results would be a start of a new process for them towards a bright future.
In the meeting, Indian Ambassador to Kabul Mr. Amr Sinha while expressing hopes for successfully ending Afghanistan’s election process asserted that they would stand beside the people of Afghanistan as before and continue their cooperation towards renovation and reconstruction of the country, considering Afghanistan as a friend country in the region.
