KABUL: The Second Vice President Mohammad Karim Khalili met Tajikistan ambassador here the other day.
In the meeting, according to BNA, matters pertaining mutual interests including enhancing relations in the fields of trade, economy and culture between the two countries were discussed.
Ambassador Sharafudin Imamov said in the meeting that both the neighboring states have the capacity to boost trade and economic relations.
He also added that the level of cooperation between the two nations has increased in the fields of security along the common borders, fighting drug trafficking, war on terror, construction of railway, transit and trade.
In his remarks, the Vice President Khalili described Tajikistan as a brotherly country, saying relations between the two nations have developed in better level.
