KABUL: Senate chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar listened to the working report of the Minister for Higher Education, Dr. Obaidullah Obaid yesterday.
Besides briefing on absorbing students in government universities and private institutions, minister Obaid said that the ground for higher education has been provided for some 350,000 students. He also added that efforts are underway to further develop the higher education sector for the next five years at a cost of 250 million US provided by the World Bank and 92 million dollars assisted by USAID.
Addressing the ceremony, senate chairman Muslimyar hailed the services of minister Obaid in developing the higher education sector.
Later on, Muslimyar in the meeting attended by several senators presented appreciation letter to minister Obaid in recognition of his services and wished more success to him and his team. The Kabul Times
