HERAT: With a cost of 3,444,000Afs 15 development projects of the National Solidarity Programme of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) were recently completed in various districts of Herat province.
According to the Provincial Manager of NSP in Herat province, these projects included construction of protection walls, public bath, water networks, schools, canals, community centers and digging 27 drinking water wells.
The projects have been implemented in Adraskan, Ghoryan, Gulran, Enjeel, Korokh and Shendan districts of Herat province and around 3,790 families have benefited from them. Since its inception, the NSP has expended 5,681,714,062Afs for implementation of 5,135 development projects in Herat province which included various sectors, such as: transport, water supply, electricity, irrigation, education and livelihood. Thousands of residents of Herat province have benefited from these projects so far.
