President Karzai talks with Pakistani PM Sharif on phone

KABUL: President Hamid Karzai phoned Pakistani Prime Minister Mia Nawaz Sharif the other day and exchanged views on matters pertaining mutual interests. During the talks, the president also briefed the Pakistani premier on the visit of Pakistani delegation dispatched to Afghanistan by him on Jauza 27 and the result of talks with it. Premier Sharif expressed his consensus with message sent to Pakistan by the Pakistani delegation, which means serious war on terror and coordination with Afghanistan. The president in conversation stressed for protection of civilians during the war on terror. It was agreed at the end of the conversation that an Afghanistan delegation should visit Pakistan and take with itself a letter from president Karzai which reflecting the view points of Afghanistan and discussion with Pakistani side about the future planning.
