KABUL: In a session of Senate held yesterday under the chairmanship of Senate’s first deputy Mohammad Alam Ezadyar, senators discussed and introduced a number of draft laws with some changes.
In the session, draft laws for addressing to children’s violations, social courts’ principles, punishment executions and judicial authorizations and formation delivered by Wolesi Jerga were introduced and referred to relevant commissions of the Jerga for further processes.
In the session, senators also condemned on recent terrorist attack on Indian consulate in Herat and considered organizing of Pakistan’s such attacks inside of Afghanistan for revenging from India as intolerable for the people of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, senators expressed concerns over security condition in some areas of the country such as Azra district of Logar and Hesarak district of Nangarhar province, saying if security of the districts were not addressed, insecurity would extend to neighboring areas of the districts.
