KABUL: President Hamid Karzai met with His Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin the other day in Beijing, the capital cityof China, where the two leaders termed terrorism as a serious threat to the entire region.
The two leaders discussed various issues including ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and war against terrorism. They also shed light on a number of regional issues.
Putin hailed massive turnout of Afghans in the first round of elections and hoped that runoff polls will be also held successfully.
