30 militants killed in Paktia
SHARAN: Thirty armed Taliban were killed and fourteen others injured during a spate of clearance operations in southern province of Pakia, an official said Sunday.
Governor Spokesman, Mukhles Afghan said a 4-day operation had been conducted in some restive parts of the province, where thirty armed rebels had been killed and fourteen other wounded.
The operations had been launched in Shkin, Barmal, Sar Rauza and Khoshamand districts of the province and took four days to end, said the spokesman.
No civilians or security troops have been harmed in the operations.
