KABUL: A panel was tasked yesterday by General Attorney Mohammad Ishaq Alako for addressing problems created between a number of parliament members and Kabul mayor.
According to a spokesman for Attorney General Office Naser Azizi, after a number of parliament members had staged strike and claimed that Kabul mayor was involved in corruption, Attorney General tasked a panel to review all accusations made against Kabul mayor based on law, evidence and documents.
Meanwhile, Attorney General asked those parliament members protesting against Kabul mayor to submit evidence and documents showing involvement of Kabul mayor in corruption to General Attorney Office.
The Attorney General asked the parliament members to stop the strike.
