KABUL: House of People summoned Dr. Obaidullah Obaid the minister for higher education yesterday and questioned about the result of the 1393 university entry test.
Presided over by the house chairman Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the lawmakers questioned higher education minister Dr. Obaid, Bari Sediqi the deputy on students affairs and Anwar Shams the in-charge of university entry test about the results of 1392 and 1393 university entry and about mismanagement over conducting the tests and challenges ahead of students and failure of the ministry to implement development projects.
The lawmakers have also drawn the attention of concerned authorities on shifting the girl students to their home provinces and bringing change to the system of the university’s entry tests.
In their speeches the lawmakers said that introducing top students to semi-higher education center is not justifiable and calling upon concerned authoritiesto review it.
Besides responding to the questions of members of the house, Dr. Obaid rejected any problems in the university entry test, adding modern electronic machines had been used in announcing the university entrance results. The Kabul Times
