KABUL: Afghanistan National Directorate for Security (NDS) said Tuesday that six militants’ leaders were blown up while equipping explosives vest in the bodies of their suicide men in central province of Logar.
The incident, the intelligence office said had happened at about 12:30pm in Charkh district’s Shash Qala area, where the six known leaders of the militants trying to fasten suicide vests in their affiliated fighters’ bodies, were killed once the hastily provided improvised devices blew on them.
The Taliban had not still commented on the statement.
The Taliban warning to derail the election process had risen with occasionally taking their own fighters’ life, in many parts of the war-racked country.
