KABUL: President Hamid Karzai, leading a high-level delegation, left for Ankara the capital of Turkey to attend the trilateral summit between Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey.
On his three-day official visit, President Karzai is also scheduled to separately meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gül and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Turkey.
During this visit, the President is accompanied by Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmad Osmani, Minister of National Defense Bismellah Mohammadi, Head of High Peace Council (HPC) Salahuddin Rabbani, National Security Advisor to the President Dr. Spanta, Presidential Advisor in International Relations Yahya Marufi, Chief of Staff to the President Abdul Karim Khuram, Acting Director General for Directorate of National Security (NDS) Eng. Rahmatullah Nabil, Head of HPC Secretariat Masum Stanikzai and President’s Spokesperson Aimal Faizi.
